Submerged and penetrated—invaded by an intruder that is remote and unknown. Nature is the point of reference to which the human can be contrasted and therefore created. Beyond it, physical laws no longer apply. Things are almost what they seem to be.

The overarching narrative of this work is the notion that nature counteracts coexistence. A condition that is ultimately violent towards humans but required for survival nonetheless, coexistence invites chaos. Abundance, destruction, rebirth.
