Working with text, thinking with and through objects.
Tropes Of A Palm

"Tropes Of A Palm" explores the manifold image of two artificial palm trees in order to unravel its histories and cultural, political and technological implications in the form of a performative lecture and an essay film.

Parts of this work were presented on May 20th, 2017 in the Hortus Botanicus Zuidas in Amsterdam as a lecture performance.
