Thesis: The story of a box posted to Cuba to reflect about political and social issues, faulty bureaucracy processes and power structures. Exposing my own position. The essay pretends to touch subjects such as ways in which exile changes a person and the role language plays in this. Graduation project consists of sculptures that decontextualize materials in order to expose their symbolic, cultural, and historical significance, but also responding to my own location and using local materials.
