Vida Kasaei’s (Tehran, Iran) projects stem from sociopolitical matters. A Play for Public is a poetic film that narrates the struggles of modern thought, such as the undecidability of truth and falsity, the relation of inside and outside, the nature of “the people,” and the relation between brain and body in the neoliberal urban landscape. This is done through the persona of a poet.
