creates situations that make tangible the interconnected but hidden processes that shape the physical conditions of the quotidian. He investigates and intervenes in his surroundings, fathoming the systems and infrastructures that perceptually frame our environments and their circumstances. The evidence of his works can be experienced both physically and conceptually, sometimes in motion, on site.
"Yours sincerely" is a critical intervention and door opener on the content and language of judicial legislation that repeatedly fails to protect local life forms from being displaced in the name of privatization and gentrification. The artist has been mobilizing his research from the old courthouse library to the new one and back. As he could not find what he was looking for, he decided to alter the library's content by smuggling a new title in the form of printed matter. The aforementioned publication registers places that are under threat of eviction. Aspiring to add the new pirate book to the collections of judicial libraries, Stefan is officially requesting the admission of the book into the library's catalogue.
