Nicolò Pellarin+
Nicolò Pellarin is an Italian graphic designer, based between Amsterdam (NL) and Venezia (IT). His work arises from an interest in the speculative relation between pseudo-languages and landscape textuality as a counter-method to unveil the socio-political messages hidden in everyday scenarios. Working across different forms of communication and publishing, his approach spans from editorial designs to urban interventions.
A series of attempts towards the creation of a fictional-landscape generated-non-alphabetic language. A beyond the rational, web of visual and physical textualities generated and left by and through the land space, as infective, ephemeral forms of communication. Anti-hypergraphy questions the role of translation as a crucial tool in the definition of the relationship between human/landscape-landscape/human in contemporary practices as visual communication and graphic design.
