Dirty Art Department
Noémie Tshisumpa+
“With a deep interest for cultural studies and acquiring new technical skillsets, she [Tshisumpa] has a distinct fascination with the fine line between art and society. In her practice she has worked with materials like clay and ceramics, and over the past two years she has found herself using her own body in her practice. In this approach she sees the body as a vector for ideas and as a political tool for questioning her direct surroundings and society itself, on a more meta level.”
