“The state of being “unwritten,” in Stria’s understanding, doesn’t have much to do with pure, unspoiled nothingness either, but instead with a cosmological idea of ever-moving parts which shapeshift like wax. Through writing, “words become molecules, and by containing them in material, they are made out of the same stuff as bodies, objects and nature,” Stria writes.
