Beyond the horizontal and vertical threads that once guided our ancestors’ understanding of time and connection, we (Pluriversity Weavers*) engage with weaving as an age-old practice through stories, worldviews, and the (in)tangible realities of the territories we inhabit. We offer the loom as a portal through which to see and relate in new-old ways, to practice the motions of weaving and braiding as a tactile act of re-membering ourselves to the land, the forest as our altar and refuge, our hands on the earth as our act of prayer. We invite everyone, regardless of their background, to re-member their own roots and begin re-weaving sacred relations within the living territories we are standing on right now.

The installation is situated in Kunst in der Natuur, Am Wachtberg 78, Gars am Kamp A-3571, and featured a performance by the collective on the 29th of August 2026.
