BassBath

BassBath (2024-now) is China’s first clubbing label dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for both deaf and hearing communities, co-created by a deaf-hearing team (Alice Hu, Jiayue Ding, and Vis Gu). Each event uses powerful bass vibrations, aiming to challenge the "hearing-centric" definition of sound, shifting the focus from auditory experience to the essence of vibration. The events integrate multi-sensory interaction designs, workshops, games, CSL interpreters, and more to create an accessible artistic, musical, and party scene for the deaf community in China.
