The Everyday Stage
Operating on the premise that culture is often embedded in our most everyday rituals, this site-specific public intervention transforms a neighborhood kebab shop into a vibrant stage for cultural exchange. Rather than relying on spatial friction, this work actively reshapes the urban narrative through live rhythm, shared meals, and radical joy. By taking over the very spot that feeds the local community, the performance bridges the gap between traditional art spaces and daily life, creating an accessible gathering that nourishes both the stomach and the spirit. Ultimately, the work challenges the boundaries of institutional exhibition, demonstrating that art can bloom exactly where it belongs: among the people.
