‘Vjens: Delayed Breathing (for a bog)’ is the second chapter of the Vjens trilogy, continuing its queer inquiry into forms of belonging, inheritance, and memory within the Low Saxon landscape. At the center of the exhibition, a five-meter research table functions as both sedimentary matter and reading surface, assembling letters, texts, and research into an evolving constellation of language, place, and memory. Texts are in Dutch, Low-Saxon, and English. Editing is done by Dagmar Bosma and Flora Valeska Woudstra.

A commissioned concept album by Tim Daniël Stienstra extends the exhibition into a sonic landscape, combining field recordings with fragments of spoken histories, electromagnetic plant signals and spoken texts that resonate with the letters.
