Human Residue (2022-2025)

Human Residue is based on the struggle with being of the human species. While trying to be ‘a good human’, whatever that means, one cannot help but contribute to the suffering of other beings and of Earth.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, there were ‘actors’ at play on the global stage; the media, politicians, laboratory animals, bodily remains. For Human Residue these were personified into characters. The characters play out a struggle between aggressor and aggressed, weaving through each other in a non-linear conversation.
