The Abject and the Box is a collective exhibition showcasing the work of alumni of the Rietveld Academie and Sandberg Instituut. It brings together artworks that explore the things we would rather reject, remove, or keep at a distance, yet that remain part of our world. Visitors are invited to contribute to the show themselves through an interactive installation, becoming part of the work in the process!
The exhibition opens on 2 October with live music by By Figure of Speech.
With artists Max Onink, Elle van Baaren, Edgar Fulton, Inka Hilsebbek, Joey Monopoly, Riëtte Wanders, Rebecca Treur, and Mike Moonen.
