I am an independent writer and artist based in Amsterdam. Working across writing, video, sound, and spatial intervention, my practice begins with structures that attempt to protect, preserve, or stabilise meaning. These range from windows and fortresses to gossip, online blogs, and other systems of visibility and narration.

Moving between truth and fiction, I often begin with an object, comment, or site, allowing it to become the subject of the work and lead me outward. Through intimate, repeated interventions - cutting, glueing, taping, collecting, and recontextualising - I examine forms of protection that are both necessary and excessive. I refer to this process as “Excess Maintenance”.
