Mar Fu Qi is a visual artist who was born in Guangdong, China, and raised in The Netherlands. Her practice explores the quest for self-identity and experiences of (up)rootedness through performance and photography. Her senses as feelers for imagination, she researches what is unfamiliar within ourselves and how we relate to each other.
