Organised Seduction

"Borrowing from Raymond Williams, 'Organised Seduction' "takes on a labor of negativity operating in the structural analogy of art and money. That this activity is a kind of nightwork, deprived and antagonistic, suggests a recalcitrance immanent to its form and its alignment with figures of anti-social, reproductive labor who labor under the cover of night: the night philosopher, the night shiftworker, the sexworker, the mother, the mourner, the renter. If critique is a mode of negativity, inconvenience, and discontinuity, this program offers work that seeks out its contingency and necessity." – Marija Cetinić.

The evening of performative readings was hosted by Marija Cetinić and Lorenzo García-Andrade at Stichting Perdu in February 2026. The performative reading presented was a long form poem which explored the nadir of desire and limerence, moving between surrealism, chance, spectrality, and the pitfalls of language to make sense of heartbreak.
