Documents bearing my name, lost-luggage notices, medical bills, and municipal communications become the support on which a mechanical arm redraws the marks, notes, and traces I have written or drawn by hand over time. The pages of my notebook, drawings from my childhood, sticky notes left between the pages of books, are progressively redrawn onto the documents, forming a layering of marks belonging to two different regimes: on one side, my existence as a bureaucratic subject within the healthcare system, the state, etc.; on the other, my subjective existence expressed through the notes and traces I record.
The work is structured as a frame that hosts this continuous accumulation: each new document is drawn and placed on top, concealing the previous layers and constantly transforming the surface of the work.
